Located just 5 minutes from Aboyne and 15min from Banchory, our yard provides direct access to scenic off-road hacking routes — through Bellwoods, River Dee, and towards the hills of Ballater, Loch Muick and Braemar.

Whether you’re visiting World Horse Welfare Belwade Farm (WHW), exploring local trails, or simply looking for a calm, safe place to ride and relax, our gates are always open to you and your pony.

We welcome horse owners for short visits, grass arena hire, or a few quiet hours of hacking and photography. The yard is private and secure, with paddocks, stables, and off-road access for a relaxed experience away from traffic and noise.

An on-site and online shop will soon offer a selection of trusted feeds, hay rings, and everyday essentials for horses and ponies — with plans to add cosy woodland lodges in the coming years.
